Dear ministry angels!
I just heard the good news about the totals raised for the Lukes. It looks like after we receive the $5000 in matching funds from Thrivent, that the total will be just over $20,000. I'm sure that will help alleviate some of the financial stress the family is feeling. In the meantime, let's continue to lift them in prayer. PRAYER makes the difference.
I am truly inspired by the commitment, love, and hard work all of you demonstrated throughout the weeks of planning down to the pulling off the day on Sunday. I will long remember what your good hearts help accomplish for a member of this faith community.
I want you all to keep sight of this success story--as I am fond of saying, Jesus makes us greater than the sum of our parts, and good things have been, are, and will continue to be accomplished in his name.
You are wonderful. I see your dedication and commitment each Sunday with set up and tear down.
I see your love in the warmth with which you greet the newcomer and each other.
