Jesus says to his disciples, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them... and teaching them to obey all my commands."  And we take that Great Commission very seriously.  It is our goal as disciples to continue his mission to "seek and save the lost" in the world.

God's kingdom is all around us, but God needs people ready to stand and proclaim it and reveal it to those who cannot see it for themselves.  So we are called into the world - to proclaim the gospel, heal those in hurt or pain, share our hope and faith, and bear the light of Christ into the dark places on earth.  It is both an honor and a sacred trust that God gives committed followers.

• Random Acts of Kindness are our way to surprise people with the undeserved and inclusive love of God by sharing a kindness in Jesus' name.
• Intentional Outreach at local Community Fests reach out to our friends and neighbors in our communities.
• Service Events such as providing a meal at Hesed House, or food and clothing for the Kendall County Pantry, or Christmas gifts for those in hard financial times, or others acts of generousity and service reveal the faithful love and providence of God for all.

Participating in acts of outreach and service in Jesus' name is a way for the Holy Spirit to transform and grow all of us into the generous, caring disciples we long to be - as we serve and change the world for the better with the love of Jesus.
